A crash in Door County claimed the life of one individual over the weekend.
The Door County Sheriff’s Office dispatched deputies to the area of Waters End Road and Hillcrest Road in the Town of Liberty just before 1:30 Sunday morning on a report of a one-vehicle crash.
The vehicle was said to be traveling west on Waters End Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree in the south ditch.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and the unnamed individual died at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation and the victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of the family.
