A 33-year-old Two Rivers man was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly threatened to stab a woman.
The Two Rivers Police Department dispatched officers to a southside residence at 7:30 Friday evening (July 26th), to investigate the claim.
The officers arrived to find the man appearing to be in possession of a firearm, causing “extensive amounts of damage to vehicles” owned by the victim.
The man was able to flee the area, prompting a call to the Manitowoc Police Department and Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office for K9 and armored vehicle support.
Investigators were eventually able to contact the suspect on his cell phone, and he told police where he was.
The man was taken into custody without further incident and was found to be in possession of a fake rifle.
He is facing charges of Battery and Criminal Damage to Property, each as a domestic violence offense, as well as 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Intimidation of a Victim, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
