The Wisconsin Cherry Board election results for 2024 have been confirmed by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection.
The board members chosen, Barry Peterson of Green Bay and Terry Sorenson of Sturgeon Bay, started their three-year terms back on July 1st.
Peterson and Sorenson will be responsible for managing Wisconsin’s Cherry Marketing Order, overseeing the collections, and using around $55,000 in assessment fees paid by cherry growers in Wisconsin, along with other duties that go with the 3-year position.
