The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has revoked the wholesale dealer license of a business in Beaver Dam due to odometer and title fraud.
WisDOT announced that R & R Car Sales Inc. of Beaver Dam violated state laws when selling vehicles to consumers.
This included rolling back odometers on vehicles and falsifying title documents.
Both acts, considered to be acts of fraud, caused WisDOT to take immediate action by revoking their license effective on May 22nd of this year, and the decision was upheld at a WisDOT hearing on June 26th.
R & R Car Sales Inc. had 30 days to appeal the decision, however elected not to, thus meaning the decision is now final.
Another dealership in Elkhorn also saw its license revoked on the same day for an identical odometer and title fraud scheme.
