Big Brothers Big Sisters WI Shoreline is always open to volunteers, especially with some big things coming up.
On a recent episode of WOMT’s Mentoring Moments, Big Brothers Big Sisters WI Shoreline Chief Executive Officer Denise Wittstock said her organization is in need of not just mentors but volunteers for fundraising events and awareness in the community.
“We’re looking for people that might be interested in supporting the mission, but mentoring might not be what they’re ready to commit to right now,” she noted. “We’d love to meet some people that are going to help plan.”
As Wittstock stated, there are many opportunities and different ways to lend a helping hand.
Wittstock went on to explain, “We are looking for just some folks that are interested in kind of getting involved and activating some really cool events next year and some new ways to celebrate.”
If interested in helping the Big Brothers Big Sisters WI Shoreline non-profit corporation in any way, there are numerous ways to reach out.
“Our email address is info@bbbswishoreline.org, or give us a call, 920-458-0111,” Witstock said. “Anybody can start the conversation about different ways that we can get you involved.”
Next year is also BBBS WI Shoreline’s 60th anniversary, making them the oldest Big Brothers Big Sisters entity in the state.
