A male suspect taken into custody last Friday night for causing extensive damage to vehicles with a firearm in Two Rivers has been officially charged.
Bail was set at $8,000 cash Monday afternoon for 33-year-old Travis J. Bowe of Manitowoc, whose charges include Battery and Criminal Damage to Property, each with Domestic Violence enhancers, Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Intimidation of a Victim, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Police responded to a residence to investigate a claim that a man (Bowe) appeared to be in possession of a firearm.
Bowe fled before authorities arrived; however, they were able to contact him on his cell phone,
He gave officers his location and was found to be in possession of a fake rifle and was taken into custody without further incident.
No injuries or damage estimates were reported. Conditions of bail include that Bowe has “no contact” with the victim and is not to possess any weapons.
He remains in the Manitowoc County Jail, with his initial appearance set for August 5th at 1:30.
