A Milwaukee woman has been arrested after allegedly attacking a Manitowoc resident with a cellphone.
The incident happened early Saturday morning (July 27), and the Manitowoc Police Department received a call urging an officer to arrive as soon as possible before abruptly hanging up.
The officer made contact with the caller and was told two individuals visiting from Milwaukee got into an altercation that turned physical.
She also stated she believed one of them had been stabbed.
The suspect, a 29-year-old woman, was seen walking into the kitchen and placing a steak knife on the counter.
After speaking with the three involved, the officer learned that the woman struck the victim with her cell phone multiple times before she grabbed a knife and threatened to kill them.
The victim then ran to the Manitowoc resident’s bedroom, fearing for their life.
Following more death threats in the bedroom, the suspect swung the knife at the victim and punched them numerous times before police arrived.
The 29-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct, Battery, and Injury by Negligent Handling of a Dangerous Weapon.
The victim of the domestic violence incident was also taken into custody after it was realized they had warrants out for their arrest in Milwaukee County.
