Paul Charles Klessig, age 80, a resident of Francis Creek, entered eternal life on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
Paul was born on July 23, 1944 in Sheboygan to the late Roland and Anita (Free) Klessig. After attending Lincoln High School, he went on to graduate from Valders High School with the class of 1962. On May 31, 1975, Paul married Linda Gallas in Two Rivers. She preceded him in death on February 21, 2018. Paul had worked at Burger Boat and Four Seasons Lawn Care. He enjoyed all things agriculture. Paul liked collecting toy tractors and machinery, and attending antique tractor and steam shows. He also enjoyed going on bus trips, attending auctions, going to Pinecrest Historical Village, Heritage Hill, and Wade House Historical Site. Paul was an active volunteer at Repeat Performance in Manitowoc, and was also the Secretary of Saxon Cemetery in Cleveland. He was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manitowoc, and also The Two Cylinder Club.
Survivors include Paul’s three children, Rebecca (Tim) Dovin, Menomonee Falls; Brian Klessig, Peshtigo; and Mark (Heidi) Klessig, Green Bay; three granddaughters, Kristal, Sophie, and Lucy; sister, Janice (Rick) Schultz, Manitowoc; also other relatives and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Anita Klessig; and wife, Linda.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc. Rev. Stephen Melso will officiate with burial to take place at Saxon Cemetery in Cleveland. The family will greet relatives and friends at Bethany Ev.
