The Wisconsin Department of Revenue has released the Shared Revenue Estimates for the year.
As WisPolitics reported, Governor Tony Evers added a 20% profit share into his 2023-2025 biennial budget, with that money being distributed among local communities.
As a whole, over $14.2 million is coming to Manitowoc County, with the City of Manitowoc getting the largest chunk, $5.3 million.
Meanwhile, the City of Two Rivers is getting over $3.7 million, the County is set to receive $2.5 million, and the City of Kiel will get over $547,000.
Every town and village in the county will also be getting a share, with Reedsville slated to receive $285,000, Cleveland getting nearly $226,000, Valders tagged for $198,000, and St. Nazianz receiving $153,000.
