CentralStar Cooperative’s Board of Directors has awarded seven agricultural majors with $1,000 scholarships.
CentralStar supports dairy and beef producers throughout the upper Midwest and these scholarships were given to foster future leaders in agriculture.
Students needed to be children of cooperative member-stock owners to be eligible for consideration. Among the seven recipients was Bianna Meyer.
Meyer is from Chilton and a University of Wisconsin-Madison student pursuing a pre-veterinary medicine degree.
Another recipient, Hailey Zernicke from Bonduel, attends the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and studies dairy science.
CentralStar looks to drive progress in the agriculture industry and foster growth in communities in the Midwest.
