The 2024 Acuity Neonatal Run/Walk has been deemed a huge success.
A total of $20,000 was raised for the Aurora Medical Center—Sheboygan County Neonatal Unit, which doubles to $40,000 when paired with Acuity’s matching donation.
Acuity President Melissa Winter said of the donation, “As a longstanding advocate of access to quality health care in the community, Acuity is proud to continue our support of Aurora Medical Center – Sheboygan County’s Neonatal Services.”
Jamison Velzke took first place in the 5K men’s division, and Logan Zak took first in the 2-mile.
Hannah Genrich captured the top spot in the women’s 5K division, and La Weser took first in the 2-mile.
Participants and spectators were welcomed to the event by Acuity’s Vendor Village, which hosted a variety of local vendors who helped sponsor the highly anticipated goody bags provided to participants.
