The mother of missing 3-year-old Elijah Vue, Katrina Baur, has seen her attorney withdraw from the case and will no longer represent her in court.
During a court hearing today (August 5th), Attorney Ann Larson excused herself from the case after the discovery of a conflict of interest.
FOX 11 reports that a new attorney, Amber Gratz, has already agreed to take over for Larson.
Vue was reported missing on February 20th, and thus far, no one has been charged for the 3-year-old’s disappearance.
However, Baur and her boyfriend, Jesse Vang, are both facing chronic child neglect charges for their treatment of Vue.
Baur is due in court on Wednesday (August 7th) for a bail hearing.
She’s looking to get her $15,000 cash bail modified, as she has been unable to post it, leaving her inside the Manitowoc County Jail since February 22nd.
As for Vang, he too has not been able to post his $20,000 bail and is next due in court on September 27th.
