Lake Michigan Stakeholders are gearing up to celebrate the Great Lake later this week.
The 11th Annual Lake Michigan Day celebration is being held at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum this Friday (August 9th) from 8:30 to 3:00 p.m.
The day will feature an inspiring lineup of speakers, including keynote speaker Sara Smith, the Midwest Tribal Resilience Liaison with the College of Menominee Nation Sustainable Development Institute.
The event will include an awards ceremony for the 2024 Champions of Conservation, recognizing outstanding contributions to restoring and protecting the Lake Michigan Basin.
