A second lawsuit alleging racial profiling has been filed against an Eau Claire police officer.
Timothy Coleman claims that Officer Sam Sperry racially profiled him and used excessive force during his arrest in 2019.
This lawsuit follows a similar case by Timothy’s brother, Sidney Coleman, against the same officer for the same arrest.
Sidney Coleman previously won a lawsuit against Eau Claire, receiving over half a million dollars.
Timothy Coleman is now seeking $12 million in his lawsuit.
