There are three meetings today (August 5th) in the City of Two Rivers.
First up was the Committee on Aging, which gathered in the Senior Center Library at 8:30 this morning.
Then, at 5:00 p.m., the Public Utilities Committee will convene in the Committee Room in City Hall.
They will get updates on several ongoing projects before discussing the second round of lead and copper testing.
Closing out the day will be the City Council, which will meet in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m. City Manager Greg Buckley will give an update on the Roosevelt Avenue reconstruction project before the Council honors the Senior Center, which is nearing its 70th anniversary.
They will also discuss a couple of TID grants for two new businesses, The Wave Two Rivers LLC, which will be going into the former Krajnk Body Shop, and Pop Start Group LLC, which is going to occupy the former Luigiās Restaurant.
