Communities across the country are giving the public a chance to meet with their local law enforcement entities today for National Night Out.
The Manitowoc Police Department is no different, as they will be at the Manitowoc Public Library starting at 6:00 p.m. to teach residents about crime prevention and family safety.
The K9s will also be on hand for a demonstration, and families will be able to look through a squad car and fire truck.
Children will also be able to sign up for a scavenger hunt, with those who complete it getting some free school supplies courtesy of Walmart.
You can learn more about what is on tap for tonight at the Manitowoc Public Library by visiting the National Night Out event page on Facebook or by reading this article penned by Manitowoc Crim Prevention Sgt. Paul Krock
