More than 150 road and bridge projects, including some in Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties, are getting another round of federal funding.
The money comes from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and includes more than $200 million.
In Manitowoc County, one project includes County Highway C or East Albert Drive from Mirro Drive to Johnson Drive along with County Highway XX or E. Washington Ave. near the village of Cleveland.
Sheboygan County will get money for a bridge improvement on the Mullet River Bridge in the Town of Greenbush on Center Street.
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers calls the improvements “critical” and continues saying the projects will make a huge difference for communities across our state and go a long way in our efforts to build the 21st-century infrastructure Wisconsinites need and deserve.
More than 7,400 miles of road in the state have been improved since 2019.
