The Manitowoc Bandits came out swinging yesterday (August 7th), taking down the Casco A’s 5-3 to force a decisive game 3.
At the plate, AJ Dollinger played the hero, blasting a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the 8th inning, his second extra-base hit of the night.
Casey Bartlet also had a good day offensively, driving home two runs in his two hits, while Lucas Mandich had an RBI single in the 5th inning.
Earl Vorpagel went the distance on the mound, allowing 9 hits and 2 walks while also striking out 9 batters and bringing home a run at the plate with a sacrifice fly.
Game 3 is tonight at Municipal Field in Manitowoc, with the winner advancing to the Shoreland League Championship Series.
First pitch tonight is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
