A 64-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Highway 70 early Friday afternoon (August 9th), according to the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, identified as Stephen Stevens of Webster, was riding with a group of motorcyclists when his bike blew a tire, causing him to be thrown from the vehicle.
Stevens was pronounced dead at the scene. Another rider sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The crash remains under investigation.
