The next Manitowoc County Fish and Game meeting is this week.
An announcement from Dean Halverson says their meeting is Wednesday (August 14th) at the Lincoln Park Cabin #1.
The speaker for this month’s meeting will be Conservationist and Educator Wendy Letzke.
Wendy has received awards from Trout Unlimited and has been named the Conservationist of the Year.
She will update the group on local programs and activities.
Halverson also says that memberships for the 2024 term are now available. Membership counts have been in decline in recent years, and the organization reminds the public of the importance of supporting all 25 conservation organizations in Manitowoc County.
Membership is important to impacting future rules and regulations and to protect rights and resources.
Manitowoc Unit dues are still only $5 annually.
