The Eau Claire County Health Department is preparing to survey residents about their healthy food habits after receiving a nearly $50,000 grant.
The study will focus on food security in rural northwestern Wisconsin, aiming to increase the availability of local, healthy fruits and vegetables.
Janessa VandenBerge from the health department says the survey is expected to begin next month, with results anticipated by the end of the year.
