A total of eight acts from all over the country will be converging on Manitowoc’s Washington Park this upcoming weekend for the 28th Annual Acoustic Fest.
The lineup includes Jim Ohlschmidt and Steve Cohen, Janet Planet, Ten Strings, Mark Barger, Genevive Heyward, Eric Nassau, John Denver tribute act Layne Yost, and The Gentlemen’s All-Temprence League.
Acoustic Fest also sponsors the Jim Krueger Memorial Music Scholarship to assist a local young musician in continuing their music studies.
This year’s recipient is Joey O’Connor, who will be a Junior at Lawrence University in the fall and is pursuing a degree in music education.
He will also hit the stage at 2:00 p.m.
