Tomorrow (August 13th) is Primary Election Day in Wisconsin.
The partisan primary allows voters to decide which candidate will run in the upcoming November General Election because some races, including in the 25th and 27th Assembly Districts, have two people running under the same party ticket.
It’s important to be patient and kind to election workers who will have given up their whole day to make sure all votes are counted for anyone voting in the primary.
You will need to bring some type of identification to the polls.
You can also register to vote on the day of the primary.
If you have an absentee ballot, it must be returned to the city municipal clerk by 8:00 tomorrow night.
If you’re not sure where you’re voting, you can go to myvote.wi.gov to get your polling location.
Voting starts tomorrow at 7:00 a.m.
