Two area police departments are hosting fundraisers for different events.
The Two Rivers Police Department will be at Culver’s on Calumet Ave. in Manitowoc for Cops at Culver’s this morning and afternoon.
Money from sales today (August 13th) will go to support the Lights of Christmas program.
The day also includes some special guests like Culver’s mascot Scoopie, McGruff the Crime Dog, the Grinch, and local officers from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The Manitowoc Police Department is also gearing up for Cops on a Rooftop at the Manitowoc Dunkin Donuts.
The event takes place this Friday (August 16th) from 6:00 am to noon and supports the Special Olympics.
Officers will be on the roof collecting donations and distributing coupons as a token of appreciation for your contribution.
