Nearly 300,000 Wisconsin residents have already cast their votes ahead of today’s election.
According to Meagan Wolfe, the administrator of the Wisconsin Elections Commission, more than 288,000 people have voted early as of yesterday.
This election marks the first time since 2022 that voters can use ballot drop boxes, though Wolfe did not specify how many of the early votes were submitted this way.
In the spring primary of 2022, 27 percent of voters cast a ballot.
Wolfe has not predicted what voter turnout will be for this election.
