Nearly eight percent of eligible voters in Manitowoc County have cast a ballot as of 11 a.m. Tuesday morning in today’s Partisan Primary Election.
County Clerk Jessica Backus tells Seehafer News that the Town of Manitowoc Rapids has had approximately 17 percent of eligible voters show up so far, followed closely by the Towns of Centerville and Two Rivers, at 15.86 and 15.42 percent, respectively.
The city of Manitowoc had 7.45 percent, Kiel 6.52 percent, while Two Rivers had yet to report.
Here are some reminders as you head to the polls today: One, this is a “partisan primary,” meaning you can only vote for candidates in one party.
Second, you must bring a form of photo ID with you, such as a driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
You may also register at your polling place. If you do not know where to vote or want to see what’s specifically on the ballot, visit myvote.wi.gov.
