The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has begun accepting nominations for the Produce Safety Advisory Council (PSAC).
Nominations may represent the categories of fresh fruit and vegetable production, produce processing, marketing, and retailing, Tribal nations, and others.
Members of the PSAC serve two-year terms and work to establish and advance produce safety goals while representing their constituents and recommending solutions to problems facing Wisconsin produce growers.
Nomination forms should include two letters of support and explain why a nominee would be a valuable addition to the PSAC.
These nomination forms and more information on the PSAC can be found online at datcp.wi.gov.
