Just shy of 2,000 WPS customers in Manitowoc County are currently without power.
According to the WPS website, 1,988 customers lost power at 12:45 Tuesday afternoon (August 13th) due to what is listed as an equipment problem.
929 customers are without power in Newton,628 in Manitowoc Rapids,324 in the city of Manitowoc,57 in The Town of Centerville, and 50 in Cato.
As of 1:00 this afternoon, crews were on their way to address the issue and expect to have the power back on by 2:45 p.m.
