Judith L. Fidler, age 83, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Harbor View Assisted Living in Manitowoc.
Judy was born on March 20, 1941 in Oconto. She was the daughter of the late Edwin and Doris Carrievau Cook. She owned and operated the Elite Beauty Salon for many years in Manitowoc. On August 25, 1962 she married Robert Fidler in Coleman. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and was active in local bowling and golf leagues. Judy was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and an active member of the St. Claire Society. Judy was very active in community charities and fund raising events for the benefit to help others.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert, one son, Kevin (Sarah) Fidler, Manitowoc, two daughters, Denise (Rick) Jessel, Little Suamico, and Nadine (Fernado) Minglana, Sheboygan; eight grandchildren, Samantha, Elizabeth, Avery, Casey, Cassandra, Nicholai, Brandon, and Alexander (Autumn); three great grandchildren, Anslee, Sollaire, Cecelia; four brothers, Dale Cook, Green Bay, Jerry (Sharon) Cook, Sheboygan, Ted (Patti Jo) Cook, Pulaski, and Rick Cook, Green Bay; four sisters, Pat Martens, Green Bay, Claudia (Joe) Gunner, Florida, Tracey (Chet) Besaw, Crivitz, Lisa (Mark) Blahnik, Abrams; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Doris Cook, one sister, Sally Handl and one brother, Michael Cook.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Waldo, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Jason Blahnik . Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. The visitation will continue on Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Waldo from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. Following the funeral services a luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation will take at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with placement of her cremated remains at the Harmony Haven Columbarium in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
