There are a pair of meetings on tap today (August 14th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Board of Public Works will meet in the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m., where they will discuss a letter submitted by a resident regarding the addition of sidewalks in their neighborhood.
They will also take bids for several upcoming projects, including the replacement of the dock at the Manitowoc Marina, streetscaping on Buffalo and Chicago Streets, and a shade structure in the River Point District.
At the same time, the Industrial Development Corporation will be in the Second Floor Conference Room in City Hall.
They will be discussing the City’s right of first refusal with Allie Family Companies for property located at West Drive and 59th Street.
