Races for the November General Election have been decided after yesterday’s Primary Election.
According to unofficial election results for the 25th District Assembly seat, Incumbent Paul Tittl will face off against Democrat Stephen Welch in November after Tittl defeated Businessman Dave Wage last night.
“It’s a great victory,” Tittl said to Seehafer News. “I want to thank the voters of the 25th Assembly District. They’ve always been in my corner, and I really appreciate it. I never take their support for granted.”
Tittl also said that Wage called him, congratulated him, and said he’ll do everything to make sure he wins another term.
As for what’s next, Tittl said, “It’s business as usual. It’s an election season.”
In the 27th District Assembly race, Lindee Brill got more votes than Brian Hilbelink to win the Republican Primary.
She’ll face off against Democrat Kay Ladson, who was the only Dem who announced her candidacy for the seat.
Two other assembly district races were uncontested.
In the 2nd District, Republican Shae Sortwell will face off against Democrat Alicia Saunders after each got votes in the primary.
In District 3, Incumbent Ron Tusler got enough votes to run for another term against Democrat Jason Schmitz in the November General Election.
There were several uncontested primary races at the Manitowoc County level for District Attorney, County Clerk, Treasurer, and Register of Deeds. As of right now, all four races are unopposed.
