The high school fall sports season is upon us, with many teams getting some preseason scrimmages in this week.
The Manitowoc Lincoln football team, now under the tutelage of former Green Bay Packer Evan Smith, will be at Green Bay Preble Friday morning at 10:00 a.m., while the girls’ tennis team will get their first taste of competition that same morning.
The Roncalli Jets will be making the short trip to Lincoln Park for the 9:00 a.m. scrimmage.
The first regular season matchups for both of those teams are scheduled for next week on Thursday, with De Pere invading Rubick Field and the tennis team traveling to Preble.
Also, that day, the Girl’s swim team will be at Bay Port.
Then, on Saturday, the Boy’s Soccer and Girl’s Volleyball teams will get their first taste of action, with the girls hosting a scrimmage with several other area schools and the boys traveling to Cedar Grove, Belgium, for a scrimmage with the Rockets and Port Washington.
