A member of the Seehafer News team has earned a well-deserved promotion.
Seehafer Broadcasting Vice President Terry Stevenson announced starting today (August 15th), our own Ryan Brahm is now known as the company’s news director.
Stevenson says Ryan has brought his passion for news and commitment to the local community to his role in broadcasting since 2016.
During his time with Seehafer Broadcasting, he has helped to grow and strengthen our news program and was instrumental in the launch of our award-winning website SeehaferNews.com.
In the new role, Ryan will oversee the entire news team. Brahm explained that he still wants to focus on covering as much local news as possible and possibly expand on what can be covered better.
He says he’s learned a lot working in the news department for seven years, but it was thanks to a WOMT legend.
Brahm explained, “A lot of what I learned came out of the brain of Damon Ryan. Honestly, he has been such an amazing mentor to me and has really helped me grow professionally and personally.”
He also wants the Seehafer News team to earn another News Operation of the Year from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association after earning it for the first time this year.
Stevenson says he’s confident that under Brahm’s guidance and leadership, the news team will continue to grow and flourish.
