The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has announced that applications are now open for its Dairy Processor Grants.
On Wednesday (August 14th), the DATCP revealed that the applications for these grants will remain open until October 7th.
Dairy Processor Grants aim to improve profitability, foster innovation, and sustain the long-term viability of the dairy processing facilities in Wisconsin.
This year, $500,000 is available for grants as part of the biennial budget signed by Governor Tony Evers.
Eligible applicants must operate a licensed dairy processing plant in Wisconsin that engages in pasteurizing, processing, or manufacturing milk or dairy products.
