A house fire in Rusk County over the weekend claimed the life of a woman.
Firefighters in Ladysmith spent approximately an hour and a half extinguishing the flames before discovering the body of a 35-year-old woman inside the home.
Five other residents managed to escape, though two suffered minor burns.
The cause of the fire has not been disclosed by authorities.
