A Green Bay woman has been convicted in a check fraud case.
FOX11 reports that 36-year-old Samantha Johnson was found guilty due to no contest pleas on twenty one charges of forgery and identity theft, while more than 80 other charges were dismissed but read into the record.
It is estimated that she defrauded a variety of victims of more than $33,000, including local governments, businesses, and a VFW post.
She will be back in court Friday (August 23rd) for her sentencing, where the prosecution will be asking for a five-year prison sentence.
