A man from northwestern Wisconsin has accepted a plea deal and will serve at least 20 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of his child’s mother.
David Edaburn Jr. entered a no-contest plea in a Burnett County court yesterday.
During the hearing, Edaburn admitted to being under the influence of drugs and alcohol when he fatally stabbed 32-year-old Brittany Hollan last September.
The medical examiner reported that Hollan sustained an uncountable number of stab wounds.
Edaburn provided no motive for the killing. He will be sentenced in November.
