The Kiel Police Department is looking into a hit-and-run incident from earlier this week.
The crash occurred at around 5:15 Sunday (August 18th) morning, when a truck struck a light pole on Cemetery Road, knocking it to the ground.
The truck then hit a culvert and went in reverse for a moment before driving out of the ditch using an embankment.
A second vehicle appeared to be accompanying the truck involved in the crash, although that has not been confirmed yet.
The investigators took to social media to ask for help identifying the truck involved, which seems to have helped, as the suspect involved has been identified.
It was not stated what charges are being filed.
