A date has been announced for the 2024 iteration of Cardboard City.
The event aimed at showing people the plight of the homeless will be held on October 12th and 13th at First Presbyterian Church, located at 502 North 8th Street.
For the past several years, participants have brought a tent or cardboard box to sleep in, showing them what it is like to live without a home, albeit for just one night.
The event was started by the former Executive Director of The Haven, Micheal Etheridge, and has transformed into a three-part collaboration between The Haven, Hope House, and the Manitowoc County Habitat for Humanity.
