The boy who passed away from injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle, has been identified.
The six-year-old boy has been identified as Lincoln C. Menne of Fond du Lac.
The Fond du Lac Police Department has been in constant contact with the boy’s family since the incident.
The family said Lincoln’s smile and spirit brought joy to so many over the years.
The Fond du Lac School District has said they will have counselors available to assist any students who are grieving and need help in processing the news.
They will be available today (August 23rd) from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Waters Elementary School.
The police investigation into the accident is ongoing, and no further details have been released.
