The Manitowoc Lincoln Girls Tennis Team dropped a pair of 4 to 3 decisions in a tournament held in Green Bay on Friday.
The Ships fell to Roncalli/Two Rivers in their first contest as the local co-op swept all three doubles matches.
The Ships took three of four singles contests, and victories were posted by Jordin Popp, Allison Gates, and Jersie Pankratz.
Meanwhile, The Ship’s lone doubles win against Stevens Point came from the senior tandem of Zylia Kleinfeldt and Tayor Petersen.
In singles, Jordin Popp improved to 4 and 0 on the young season with a straight-set victory, and Sophia Levihn also picked up a victory for the Ships against the Panthers.
Manitowoc Lincoln, now 2 and 2 on the season, continues its busy beginning to its season at a tournament at Wauwatosa East on Saturday.
