A restroom in a Kiel park is closed due to vandalism.
An announcement from the Kiel Police Department says over the past week, they’ve been made aware of several vandalism issues taking place at Hingiss Park.
On multiple occasions, toweling was stuffed down the toilet, and in one instance, the hand towels were forced so far down that certified professionals were called to clear the toilet.
The Hingiss Park restrooms will now stay closed until further notice but will be open for special occasions.
Anyone with information about the acts of vandalism is asked to contact Kiel Police.
Police finish saying they are disappointed to have to make the decision.
