Since the start of August, the price of fuel in Eastern Wisconsin has been on a steady decline.
According to prices reported on the AAA Gas Prices webpage, Manitowoc County started the month averaging $3.48 per gallon of regular unleaded fuel.
That average has dropped 31 cents over the past three weeks, now sitting at $3.17, which is also down seven cents from last week.
Sheboygan County reported a two-cent drop from last week to $3.26 per gallon, while Calumet County’s average is down eight cents to $3.20.
Outagamie County saw a four-cent decline to $3.18, while Brown County’s average is down five cents from last week to $3.20 per gallon.
Kewaunee County saw the biggest drop-off over the last seven days, with an average of ten cents less than $3.19 per gallon last week.
Door County saw a two-cent dip to $3.29.
The state average is down eight cents from last week, now at $3.23, while the national average is at $3.35, down a nickel from last week.
