Another one of Eastern Wisconsin’s county fairs that kicks off this week is the Calumet Couty Fair in Chilton.
This year’s fair, which advertises itself as a fair by day and festival by night, begins tomorrow (August 30th) at 11:00 a.m. with animal judging, bingo, and the Calumet County Farm Bureau Fish Fry.
Saturday has the kiddie tractor pull along with a full tractor-trailer pull later that night. A wine walk is also included on Saturday.
Sunday features a morning church service and performances from Let Me Be Frank Productions and the Pink Ribbon Rebels Equestrian Team.
The fair wraps up on Monday with a car show and the Calumet County Horse Promoters Speed Show.
Each day includes a performance from Juggler with the Yellow Shoes, while each night includes different bands like Smoke Road, the Spicy Tie Band, Johnny Wad, Bulls and Barrels, and country music icon Neal McCoy hitting the grandstand stage at 7:30 Sunday night.
Admission costs $10 for adults on Saturday and Sunday but is free on Friday and Monday.
Children ages 10 and under get in for free all weekend. More information about this year’s fair can be found online at CalumetCountyFair.com.
