A church in Manitowoc is inviting the public to view a movie that discusses the rise and risks of Christian Nationalism.
The film is called “Bad Faith”, and it will be shown at First Presbyterian Church on Monday, September 9th.
According to an in-depth article on the topic published by Christianity Today, Christian Nationalism is a religious movement that believes that America as a nation is “defined by Christianity and that the government should take active steps to keep it that way.”
“Bad Faith” looks at how the leaders of this movement “have spread fear and anger for decades, distorting political issues into Biblical battles between good and evil.”
The documentary will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Hall of First Presbyterian Church, located at 502 North 9th Street.
Guests are asked to use the doors on 8th Street.
