The Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter is getting ready for the upcoming Walk to End Alzheimer’s with a bike ride.
Starting tomorrow (August 31st) the 5th Annual Tour de lone gets underway in Manitowoc.
The ride is a 100-mile stationary bike ride to support Alzheimer’s research and is especially meaningful since its honor’s the event organizer’s mother, who passed away from the disease in 2017.
Jodi, who organizes the event, has raised thousands of dollars through this ride, significantly contributing to the fight against Alzheimer’s.
The funds raised from the Tour de Ione will support the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which is taking place in Manitowoc on September 7th.
The walk starts at the Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA at 10:00 am with the event opening at 8:30 am.
