Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce has named a new director of environmental and energy policy.
Adam Jordahl is taking over the role, bringing with him years of policy, lobbying, and communications experience. Jordahl previously served as WMC’s Associate Director of Government Relations from 2018 through 2020.
He then was the Communications and Government Relations Manager for The Hamilton Consulting Group, a government affairs firm that represents leading national and Wisconsin employers and industry trade and professional associations.
At Hamilton, in addition to representing clients, monitoring legislation and administrative rules, and conducting policy research, Adam served as the firm’s communications manager.
Jordahl said he is excited to be back at WMC because “Wisconsin businesses need an advocate to represent their interests and defend against government overreach, and I’m honored to be part of that voice.”
