A Neenah man is dead after an ATV crash in Marinette County.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Department announced that last Saturday (August 31st), just after 7:45 pm, they were called to a single-vehicle ATV crash on Wayside Road near Pleasant Lane in the Town of Middle Inlet, where one person was injured.
An investigation shows that the ATV driven by 37-year-old KC Duane Bolles was traveling south on Wayside Rd. but couldn’t make a 90-degree turn.
Bolles went into a ditch and then struck a tree. Bolles was wearing a helmet, but his injuries were severe enough that he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol and speed appear to be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
Marinette County Sheriffs were also assisted in the investigation by the Marinette County Examiners Office, Wisconsin DNR, and Crivitz Rescue.
