The I-41 expansion project between Appleton and De Pere has now entered its 22nd week.
Crews began work on the 23-mile stretch of roadway on April 1st, with a goal of expanding the interstate highway from its current four lanes up to six.
This has caused a few traffic delays in certain areas and long-term closures in a couple of different areas.
Capitol Drive over I-41 between North Capitol Court and Northridge Lane will remain closed through sometime this fall, while two closures are expected to be lifted this month.
Rose Hill Road over I-41 between Fairlane Drive and East Evergreen Drive will remain closed through mid-September, while the County Road N interchange, which is exit 146, will stay shut down through late-September.
Also closed are French and Southbridge Roads between Creamery Road to Innovation Court.
That closure will remain in effect through the fall of 2026.
The latest traffic impacts can be found on the project website at WisconsinDOT.gov.
