A driver was arrested after allegedly hitting someone in Fond du Lac and sending them to a hospital.
Fond du Lac Police say they were called to West Division Street between Main and Macy at approximately 9:00 Saturday evening (August 31st) after a vehicle hit a pedestrian.
A 42-year-old Fond du Lac man who was hit by the vehicle was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The 31-year-old driver was going on westbound on Division Street before they hit the man.
The driver has now been charged with operating while impaired- causing great bodily harm.
The accident remains under investigation, and no more information has been released at this time.
